Starting the Fundraiser

So it’s the first of July and my RCH Good Friday Appeal is well and truly underway! So far I’ve given out around 90 tins which is an amazing amount. I’ve had tins given at my Mum’s work, my Dad’s work, my brother’s footy, heaps of my Aunty’s friends have taken some and many of my family and friends too.

I want to say a massive thank you to all of you who have already got a tin. I’ve spoken to a few families and many have started fundraising already which is amazing! I know there are many families who have mentioned that they want a tin, just haven’t received it yet so thank you to you too. From our efforts already I’m sure we’ll reach the goal of $10,000.

I’m also very excited to introduce a new aspect of the fundraiser. I would like most of the money to be raised through the tins as it is the main idea but through the RCH I have also created an Everyday Hero page.

This is so that anyone overseas, interstate or anyone else unable to receive a tin will be able to donate as well. I am still in the process of creating this page, just waiting for Everyday Hero to publish the page publicly but it should be up any day now. I’m not sure when it will be up but when it is I will be sure to let you know and give the link.
